THE PRECINCT
Crescent Parklands is an opportunity for a vibrant new precinct within 30 minutes’ walk of major employment centres, including Parramatta, Merrylands and Granville.

The NSW Government has a vision where all people in Greater Sydney can live within 30 minutes of their jobs, education and health facilities, services and recreational places.

Crescent Parklands will be a new neighbourhood precinct adjacent to Sydney’s Central City, Parramatta.

The site, at 1 Crescent Street, Holroyd, was formerly WesTrac’s NSW Operational Headquarters.
The Crescent Parklands proposal includes significant public benefits and a mix of uses, including dedicated affordable housing – 7 per cent in perpetuity, childcare, local neighbourhood shops, and will be supported with large areas of public open space, as well as additional commercial areas – providing a new, local destination.

The images on this website are an artist’s interpretation of what this precinct could look like and are subject to planning approvals.
YOUR IDEAS
The Crescent Parklands team is keen to understand local community needs and will examine how these can be catered for at the new precinct.
To inform the design and mix of the precinct, the Crescent Parklands team would like your feedback about:
-
Access to open space, walking and cycle paths
-
What further facilities such as cafes, local shops, childcare or other services would be of benefit to you?

Before you take the survey, you can see some of these ideas on the community benefits page.
THE PRECINCT AT A GLANCE
Crescent Parklands will provide an engaging community environment that facilitates a live, work and play lifestyle.

The precinct will include a mix of housing, including dedicated affordable housing, and will be supported with large areas of public open space, including children’s playground, retail and commercial areas – providing a new, local destination.

Whether you are enjoying a coffee before a sports game, stopping in on a weekend bike ride, picking up groceries after visiting the gym or meeting a friend for a BBQ on the weekend, experience the best of the precinct on foot or on a bike.
